Lavender shoot with Eolia

Ahead of my last shoot at Hitchin Lavender with Connor Wells, I had been in talks with model Eolia planning a fashion shoot. I’d spent a lot of time creating mood boards on Pinterest with ideas for shooting in both the Lavender fields and the sunflower fields, but sadly the sunflowers still haven’t appeared.

The stunning outfits that we had were provided by the lovely Bethany Wine at Sue Ryder Vintage in Peterborough (thanks Beth!!!). I shot with a Nikon D750 and Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 lens and used only natural light with a reflector and a prism for some of the shots.

We got to the Lavender field at just after 11am in the morning and it was already quite busy, I had to photoshop out a lot of people, but we did shoot at the far right of the fields to try and avoid as many people as possible.

I am so pleased with the results and had such a lovely time working with Eolia, who I hope to work with again soon :)
