Macklemore - O2 Academy Brixton - 07/03/18

I've been to and shot a lot of gigs, but I have never been to a gig that had as amazing an atmosphere as Macklemore at the O2 Academy Brixton. The crowd were insane and you could tell they loved every second of being in Ben Haggerty's presence and seeing him perform.

From a shooting perspective having to choose one side of the stage to shoot from and stay there for the duration of the three songs due to video recordings wasn't ideal, (and I was lucky that there was only me and one other photographer shooting that night, so we had a side each) but thankfully I'd been warned of this previously through another photographer and so took an extra camera and 70-200mm lens as well.

For the three songs I got to see I took away one thing - that Macklemore and his fans are AMAZING! I will definitely be buying tickets for the next tour!
